Energy Efficient Heating for Traditional Interiors
Smart Radiators for Homes & Offices
Aero-Flow Electric Radiators combine traditional aesthetics with modern heating efficiency, using innovative fireclay heat plate technology and sophisticated programming facilities to provide comfortable and controllable room heating.
Electrorad Aero-Flow Radiators use energy efficient fireclay heat plates to heat rooms with a combination of radiation and convection heat. The heat plates warm the radiator both inside and out, pushing radiated heat out into the room and warming the air as it circulates through the radiator vents. The fireclay heat plates are designed to maximise the radiator’s heat retention capacity, so that the Aero-Flow can effectively “store” heat long after its initial heat-up times. This minimises the amount of energy required to keep your radiators running at your chosen comfort temperatures.
The Aero-Flow is controlled by a precision digital thermostat accurate to a fifth of a degree. The thermostat monitors the temperature in the room and switches the radiator on whenever the heat needs topping up. In a well-insulated room, the thermostat may only need to keep the radiator switched on for as little as a third of the time. You can slim down your energy usage further by using the Aero-Flow’s built-in digital programmer to set up a 7-day heating schedule which suits your lifestyle, keeping your rooms comfortable when they’re in use, and saving energy when you’re out of the house. You can programme the radiator, switch between heating modes and adjust temperatures all from the lockable control panel on the front of the radiator. Heating programmes are stored in the panel’s 48-hour battery backup, so you won’t lose your programming if there’s a power cut.
Updated for 2018, the Aero-Flow comes with a new-look interface as well as extra energy-saving features, such as adaptive start, open window detection and holiday mode. Also included is a boost function which will heat at your comfort temperature for an adjustable amount of time before returning to the heater’s previous settings. For increased control over the Aero-Flow, it can be paired with a compatible WiFi gateway for distance control using a smartphone or tablet.
Maintenance free and very durable, the Aero-Flow has been manufactured to the highest engineering standards, with a 10-year guarantee on the radiator body. Using a dry thermal heating element removes all risk of leaks, while fully enclosed heating elements ensure that the radiators will not cause wall-blackening.
Electrorad radiators do not come supplied with a plug, which means they will need to be hardwired by a professional electrician. For plug-in-and-go installation, a plug must be purchased and fitted to the cable. The radiators can then be mounted to the wall and plugged into the nearest socket. If you prefer, you can purchase the radiator with a set of Aero-Flow feet and mount the radiator free-standing. Check out the Aero-Flow manual for more information.
Available in both horizontal and vertical designs. Choose from horizontal 650w, 1300w, 2000w, 2500w & vertical 1600w.

Electrorad radiators are easy to install with very basic DIY knowledge . For DIY installation, a plug will need to be purchased and attached to the cable, the radiators then screw to the wall and plug into a normal 13amp socket. Each radiator is supplied with wall plugs, screws, and a template to show you where to put the screws. All you need to do is attach a plug, drill four holes, mount the radiator on the bracket supplied, and plug into the nearest socket. It really is that simple. If you do not wish to purchase a plug, or prefer a wireless finish, Electrorad radiators can be hardwired by a professional electrician.
We do not recommend electric radiators or panel heaters for bathroom installation. This is because there is the temptation to hang towels over the appliance to dry, which can obstruct ventilation on the heater and cause a hazard.
Care must always be taken when connecting multiple radiators or heaters to avoid overloading the ring main of your property. If you are unsure, contact a qualified electrician for advice. For a professional installation, cables can be shortened and the heater connected to the mains supply by a fused spur. This work must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
All Electrorad Aero-Flow Electric Radiators come with a 2 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty and a 30 Year Warranty on the radiator body (subject to manufacturer's terms and conditions).
