Energy Efficient Heating for Traditional Interiors
Smart Radiators for Homes & Offices
Electrorad Digi-Line Radiators combine modern electric heating technology with traditional radiator design to provide an energy efficient electric heating solution that’s indistinguishable from conventional central heating radiators.
The Digi-Line’s sturdy steel body sports a traditional-style radiator design, with ridged panels and a uniform array of fins and fluted vents. In the place of plumbing, the radiator is filled with a specially formulated thermal fluid heating element which distributes heat across the radiator’s entire surface area, pushing heat out into the room and warming the air as it circulates through the radiator. The thermal fluid is specially formulated to maximise heat retention, helping your radiator use less energy to maintain your comfort temperatures.
A high precision thermostat accurate to a tenth of a degree measures the temperature of the room and switches the radiator on and off to maintain your set comfort levels. If your room is well insulated, the thermostat may only need to keep the radiator switched on for as little as a third of its heating time – cutting your heating bills down to a fraction of their original cost. The radiator also makes use of a smart open window detector which cuts power to the radiator whenever the sensor detects rapid heat loss – an easy way to prevent wasted energy. You can set the radiator’s temperature from the lockable control panel, which also gives you the option to set a maximum surface temperature of 60 °C, 75 °C or 90 °C – handy if you’ve got young kids. The Digi-Line range is also available with a central programmer which you can use to control all your radiators from one central location, with separate programming available for up to 4 zones across your home.
Electrorad radiators do not come supplied with a plug, which means they will need to be hardwired by a professional electrician. For plug-in-and-go installation, a plug must be purchased and fitted to the cable. The radiators can then be mounted to the wall and plugged into the nearest socket. The optional central programmer communicates with in built radio receivers in each radiator, this programmer does not require extra wiring. The programmer can be used freestanding or can be easily mounted on the wall.
The Digi-Line is available in 6 sizes: 500w, 750w, 1000w, 1250w, 1500w & 2000w.

Electrorad radiators are easy to install with very basic DIY knowledge . For DIY installation, a plug will need to be purchased and attached to the cable, the radiators then screw to the wall and plug into a normal 13amp socket. Each radiator is supplied with wall plugs, screws, and a template to show you where to put the screws. All you need to do is attach a plug, drill four holes, mount the radiator on the bracket supplied, and plug into the nearest socket. It really is that simple. If you do not wish to purchase a plug, or prefer a wireless finish, Electrorad radiators can be hardwired by a professional electrician.
We do not recommend electric radiators or panel heaters for bathroom installation. This is because there is the temptation to hang towels over the appliance to dry, which can obstruct ventilation on the heater and cause a hazard.
Care must always be taken when connecting multiple radiators or heaters to avoid overloading the ring main of your property. If you are unsure, contact a qualified electrician for advice. For a professional installation, cables can be shortened and the heater connected to the mains supply by a fused spur. This work must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
All Electrorad Digi-Line Electric Radiators come with a 2 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty and a 10 Year Warranty on the radiator body (subject to manufacturer's terms and conditions).
