    This fused spur is not sold as a DIY product and must be fitted by a professional electrician. The switch fits a standard 25mm deep single wall box, which needs to be hardwired in the next dry area, such as the hallway, and must never be installed in the bathroom itself.

    There are Android and iOS app versions available. Please note that although the Timeguard WiFi Switch supports multiple heaters, the load limit is 13A. 

    Please note: the Timeguard WiFi Controlled Fused Spur allows you to program times when your towel rail switches on and off. It does not allow you to program temperatures.

The Timeguard WiFi Controlled Fused Spur Time Switch provides a practical method for managing your bathroom heating. It lets you easily program your bathroom heater from your smartphone and can be used with all towel rails.

By installing the Timeguard heating app on a smart device, you can control your bathroom heater over the internet using WiFi or 4G, adjusting your settings with a few simple taps. An array of functions are available using the Timeguard – from daily and weekly programming, to manual override and holiday mode – so your heater will perfectly complement your lifestyle. The Timeguard’s programming facility lets you choose when your towel rail draws power and even comes with additional seasonal programs so you can switch between your different schedules without overwriting your saved settings. For further practicality, a 1 and 2 hour boost option provides you with warm, toasty towels without consuming unnecessary energy. The app displays the active setting clearly and lets you see how often your heater’s running, so you can tweak programs and be even more efficient with your energy usage. The app supports multiple devices, so if you want the whole family to be able to adjust the heater’s settings, it’s easy to create separate logins for each user.

It’s important to get a qualified electrician to carry out the installation and ensure that the load added to the switch does not exceed 13A.
