    The Celect 908 system is designed to be quick and easy to install, suitable for DIY fitting. 

    The 908 thermostat is battery powered and requires 2xAA batteries. It should be wall mounted in a location which is easily accessible and free from extremes of temperature. Thermostat size is 115 x 90 x 28mm (WxHxD).

    The 908 receiver plugs directly into the socket currently used by your heater. The heater or heaters then plug into the receiver socket. Receiver size is 86 x 126 x 47mm (WxHxD). 

    The range of the thermostat’s radio frequency is 100m in open air. Within a house, this will be reduced to about 30m because of the interference of walls and furniture. Making the RF connection between the receivers and the thermostat is straight-forward – you can even use our easy-setup guide.

The Celect 908 Wireless Thermostat is a fully programmable electronic thermostat which uses a radio frequency to wirelessly control heaters plugged into the socket receiver. With no professional installation required, the Celect 908 provides a quick and easy solution for efficient heating control.

The Celect 908 thermostat monitors the temperature of the air and signals the receiver to switch its heaters on or off to maintain the desired temperature set by the owner. With good insulation, this means your heaters will only use power for a fraction of the time – creating massive energy saving potential. The receiver can control up to 10 Amps – which equates to 2300w in a standard 230V power supply – and can be used to control single or multiple heaters. All you have to do is plug your heaters into the receiver sockets.

Fully programmable controls with 6 time/temperature settings available for each day of the week allow you to programme a heating schedule which suits your lifestyle, keeping rooms comfortable when you’re at home and saving power by reducing heating when you’re out. You can set a schedule which is different every day, different on weekdays and weekends, or the same every day – or just use the thermostat’s default program. The Celect’s anti-freeze mode works alongside your heating schedule and will kick in when the thermostat senses temperatures of less than 5 °C, ensuring that room temperatures are sufficient to prevent frost damage to pipework or electrics. Temperature override, manual mode and a holiday function are also available for when you need to deviate from your set program.

The Celect 908 is intelligent and easy to use. The large, easy-read LED screen displays set temperature, room temperature and time simultaneously, and can be set to display temperature in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. The thermostat is accurate to ±0.5 °C and controls temperatures from 5 – 35 °C. A low battery indicator lets you know when to replace batteries, whilst permanent setting saving ensures that user settings and heating schedule information will not be lost when you take out the batteries.

Installation is a straightforward DIY task: simply plug the receiver into the heater socket and mount the thermostat in a convenient location. The wireless thermostat has a range of 100 metres when unobstructed. This reduces to around 30 metres when used through solid walls and furniture, which should still be sufficient to allow you to control and programme your heaters from the most convenient location in your house.

Perfect for use in indoor locations, this wireless thermostat can be used for virtually any domestic or commercial application. Please note: the thermostat and receiver are not waterproof, so must not be used in areas where they will be exposed to water or moisture. Examples include bathrooms, steam rooms, industrial kitchens and outdoor areas.
