Manuals & Installation
The Smart Box comes supplied with an Ethernet cable and a power supply. All you need to do is plug the power supply into a wall socket and plug the Ethernet cable into your router. To connect your phone, tablet or laptop to the SmartBox, simply download the free Haverland app from any app store. You will need the serial number from the back of the SmartBox to set up your app. You will then be able to connect each radiator to the SmartBox by searching for them on your app. For more information see the Smart box Manual.

The SmartBox has a 100m signal range in an open area, however, this is reduced to 50 - 60m when taking into account walls and other objects.

Purchasing your SmartWave radiators with a SmartBox gives you the opportunity to control your heating from anywhere in the world – all you need is a Wifi connection.
Connecting your SmartWave electric radiators to a Haverland SmartBox gives you full control over your radiators using a laptop, tablet or smartphone. Whether you’re on a bus, stuck at work or away on holiday on the other side of the world, all you need is an internet connection to view the temperature at home, switch your radiators on or off or change the programming on your radiators. Simply download the Haverland heating app onto your device to take command of your heating the easy way.
If you have an Amazon smart speaker, the SmartBox gives you the option of using Alexa to manage your heating via voice control. Using a set of simple command phrases, you can use the Amazon Alexa virtual assistant to adjust your heating without having to lift a finger! Alexa will be able to fine-tune the temperatures of your radiators, change between modes and switch them on and off as required for a convenient, hands-free system.
Fitting your SmartBox is a quick and easy task that does not require permanent installation. All you have to do is plug the SmartBox into your router. The SmartBox will then use your broadband to link up to your laptop, phone or tablet. The SmartBox uses a radio frequency to link up to all the radiators in your house – and with a range of 60m through solid walls, you’ll only ever need one SmartBox for one property. Whenever you make a change to your heating using the Haverland app, the SmartBox will send the message to your radiators immediately – so you won’t have to wait to feel the benefit of the changes you make.
